In this example, betting the spread may be a better option if you think Liverpool will win the game by 2 or more goals. The spread above shows Liverpool as a -1.75 goal favorite at odds of -102. This means half of the bet would be applied to a spread of Liverpool -1.5 and half to Liverpool -2. If Liverpool wins by 3 or more goals you would win the entire spread bet. If Liverpool wins by 2 goals you would win half of the spread bet and half would push (be returned).
The other bet shown in the example is the over/under on total goals, which is set at 3.5. The over bets would win if 4 or more goals are scored in the match, while under bets would win if 3 or fewer goals are scored.
