Purdue has impressed to this point in the tournament, and they were able to get past #2 Tennessee 72-66 in the Elite Eight, while not shooting their best from 3-point range or the foul line. NC State has now won 10 straight games dating back to their opening round game as the #10 seed in the ACC Tournament. NC State knocked off Duke, Virginia, and UNC on that run to earn an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament, and they’ve continued their impressive run with wins over NC State, Oakland, Marquette and Duke once again to reach the Final Four. This NC State team is playing great basketball and having fun on the court. I wouldn’t overlook them at this point in the tournament.
