The 2022 Super Bowl will take place this Sunday, February 13th at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Cincinnati Bengals and LA Rams each won their respective Conference Championship game and will compete in the big game on Super Bowl Sunday.
The Super Bowl is generally the most bet on single-day sporting event in the US every year. With the sports betting industry continuing to grow in the USA I’m expecting a lot of betting action on this years Super Bowl.
On this page I will recommend a sportsbook for North Carolina residents, look at the legal climate of sports betting in NC, outline the odds for the popular Super Bowl bets, and provide a guide you can follow to get your Super Bowl 56 bets placed online.

Super Bowl Betting in North Carolina
Legal sports betting arrived in North Carolina in March of 2021. The catch is that the new law only permits betting in-person at one of two retail locations in the state. These two Harrah’s tribal casinos are located in the far western part of the state.
Outside of these two tribal casinos it is not legal to operate a sportsbook in the state of North Carolina.
That said, if you live in North Carolina and want to bet on the Super Bowl without traveling to Harrah’s, you can do so by betting through an online betting site, such as SportsBetting.ag, that is licensed and regulated outside of the United States.
Statewide sports betting could still come in the future, but a decision on this is not imminent. Check out our North Carolina sports betting page for a more detailed breakdown of betting in the state.
Super Bowl 56 Odds
Here are the odds for the three most popular bets you can place on this years Super Bowl. These are the spread, money line and total. The odds could change as we approach Super Bowl Sunday. To see the current odds head to SportsBetting.ag, open the ‘Football’ drop down menu and select ‘NFL’. The odds below are from February 8th.
The LA Rams are 4 point favorites against the spread (-4). The Rams would have to win the game by 5 or more points for spread bets on the Rams to win.
The Bengals are 4 point underdogs, so the Bengals would have to either win the game outright or lose by 3 or fewer points for spread bets on the Bengals to win.
If the Rams win by exactly 4 points then the spread bets would push.
A money line bet is a wager on which team will win the game outright. The odds associated with each team determine the risk vs reward of the bet.
The Rams are -195 favorites, which means you would have to risk $195 to win $100 betting on LA. The Bengals are +170 underdogs so a $100 bet on Cincy would win $170 if they won the game.
The total for the game is set at 48.5 points. You can bet on whether the number of points scored by both teams in the game will be over or under this total.
