How To Bet On The 2024 Super Bowl From North Carolina

By Football

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! The 2024 Super Bowl will take place this evening (Sunday, February 11th) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers each won their respective Conference Championship game and will compete in the big game on Super Bowl Sunday.

The Super Bowl is generally the most bet on single-day sporting event in the US every year. With the sports betting industry continuing to grow in the USA I’m expecting a lot of betting action on this years Super Bowl.

On this page I will recommend a sportsbook for North Carolina residents, look at the legal climate of sports betting in NC, outline the odds for the popular Super Bowl bets, and provide a guide you can follow to get your Super Bowl 58 bets placed online.

Super Bowl Betting in North Carolina

Legal sports betting arrived in North Carolina in March of 2021. The catch is that the new law only permits betting in-person at one of three retail locations in the state.

Outside of these three tribal casinos it is not legal to operate a sportsbook in the state of North Carolina.

That said, if you live in North Carolina and want to bet on the Super Bowl without traveling to one of the tribal casinos, you can do so by betting through an online betting site, such as Everygame.eu, that is licensed and regulated outside of the United States.

There are plans to launch regulated state-wide online sports betting in March of this year. Check out our North Carolina sports betting page for a more detailed breakdown of betting in the state.

Super Bowl 58 Odds

Here are the odds for the three most popular bets you can place on this years Super Bowl. These are the spread, money line and total. The odds could change as we approach Super Bowl Sunday. To see the current odds head to Everygame.eu, select ‘American Football’ in the Everygame Sportsbook, and select ‘Super Bowl’ to see the betting lines for the game. The odds below are accurate as of Super Bowl Sunday.

Spread

The San Francisco 49ers are 2 point favorites against the spread (-2). The 49ers would have to win the game by 3 or more points for spread bets on the 49ers to win.

The Chiefs are 2 point underdogs, so the Chiefs would have to win the game outright or lose by a single point for spread bets on the Chiefs to win.

If the 49ers win by exactly 2 points then spread bets would push and be refunded.

Money Line

A money line bet is a wager on which team will win the game outright. The odds associated with each team determine the risk vs reward of the bet.

The 49ers are -125 favorites, which means you would have to risk $125 to win $100 betting on San Francisco. The Chiefs have odds of +105, so you would have to risk $100 to win $105 betting on the Chiefs to win the game.

Total Points

The total for the game is set at 47.5 points. You can bet on whether the number of points scored by both teams in the game will be over or under this total.
