The 2021 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 29th to May 1st, with the first round taking place this Thursday night at 8pm. Rounds 2-3 will take place on Friday and rounds 4-7 on Saturday. All three rounds of the draft will be shown on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network.
This years draft will take place in Cleveland and the event will return to normalcy after last years virtual draft. Top prospects will be in attendance, and fully vaccinated commissioner Roger Goodell even has the green light to hug draftees.

NFL Draft Betting Odds
Here is a look at the odds for some of the different NFL Draft bets you can make at SportsBetting.ag. You can find the up to date odds at the SportsBetting website by opening the ‘Football’ drop down menu and selecting ‘NFL Draft’ in the sportsbook. The below lines are from April 26th.
1st Defensive Player Picked in 2021 Draft
The quarterbacks are going to dominate the early picks in this years draft. More is unknown on the defensive side of the ball. Patrick Surtain II, a cornerback out of Alabama, is the favorite to be the first defensive player picked, but this category could come down to the positional need for the NFL team that decides to take a defensive player early in the 2021 draft.
Third Overall Pick
Trevor Lawrence is considered a lock for the #1 pick and Zach Wilson is expected to go #2, so the third overall pick is the first one with real question marks. It will likely be a QB, but the question is which one. Mac Jones is the favorite, but it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise to see either Trey Lance or Justin Fields to be picked #3 either.
Draft Position of Players
SportsBetting also has over/unders on the draft position of the majority of players expected to be drafted in round 1. Kyle Pitts one of the top players in the draft has an over/under of 5.5 overall, with him going in the first 5 picks of the draft at -250.
SportsBetting.ag has a huge selection of draft props available. You really have to go to the site to check them out. There are probably over 100 and you could definitely find some value.
- 1st player drafted at each position (offensive lineman, running back, wide receiver, etc).
- Over/unders on player draft positions.
- Will teams pick an offensive or defensive player first.
- More 1st round picks props (offensive vs defensive players, Big 10 vs Alabama players, PAC 12 vs ACC players, etc).
- Over/unders of total players drafted in round 1 by categories (total wide receivers, total quarterbacks, total Big 12 players, etc).
